The overall purpose of the post is to support the management and development of the RSPB's work in informal education work with young people in Scotland. This will be achieved by developing and servicing the RSPB's junior membership, Wildlife Explorers (WEx), representing Scottish and Scottish regional aspects in planning and delivery of RSPB services for young members, liaising with UKHQ and Scottish regional staff and by providing support for youth and children's activities at RSPB national, local and internal events. We are looking for someone with experience of working with young people in an informal setting and who has helped to administer youth work.
Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 pa pro rata
Part time, 3 days a week
